Directed by Sam Scott and produced by Jesse Thomas Cook and Liv Collins, the project won the Feature Film Pitch during the 2023 Forest City Film Festival, allowing the team to bring the film to life in London, Ontario. Since then, Turn It Up! has gained global momentum, being selected for the prestigious Frontières Buyers Showcase at the Cannes Marché du Film before celebrating its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival.
