The Forest City Film Festival’s Project Pitch returns in 2026, designed to spotlight the next wave of Canadian filmmakers and accelerate projects into production.
Come watch the finalists live as they take the stage at the Wolf Performance Hall, pitching their projects in front of a panel of industry experts and an engaged audience of filmmakers, students, and film lovers.
In partnership with Film London, this year’s competition will award three standout projects with the funding, resources, and industry support needed to bring their films to life.
The Three Categories
- Emerging Filmmaker: For filmmakers under the age of 30 ready to take the next step in their careers.
- Narrative Short: For scripted short form content with a strong creative vision and clear path to production.
- Documentary Film: For non-fiction projects with a compelling story and meaningful perspective.
