Rehearsals for a Revolution tells the story of Iran not through sweeping historical accounts, but through the lives of five people connected to the film's director. Their stories span decades of political upheaval, oppression, resistance, and change, each offering a small window into the forces that have shaped the country over the last half-century. Taken together, these individual experiences become something much larger: a portrait of a nation told through the people who have lived it.
