Louise Weard’s Castration Movie series debuted in 2024, being released onto the internet with very little fanfare. This small Canadian movie, shot for almost no money on a Hi8 camcorder, quickly became a cult sensation among the hyper-online, and garnered the attention of some major publications that listed it as one of the best films of the year. The second film in the series was released in 2025, and the buzz has only continued to grow. Now, Castration Movie Chapter iii: Junior Ghosts releases as a sort of “in between” film in the series, being half the length of the rest of the movies.
