Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race is Canada’s largest and oldest engineering design competition being hosted in London this February. About 20 teams from Canadian and US Universities and colleges have designed and built custom engineered bobsled-like toboggans to race at Boler Mountain this year. Each toboggan has a metal frame, steering and braking systems, and are built on reinforced concrete skis. Teams spend many months designing and building their toboggans to the stringent rules and safety standards, and compete to win the coveted CSCE Cup, and be the fastest toboggan down the slopes.

These engineered bobsleds will be racing from 9 AM to 3 PM, featuring speed runs, slalom and king of the hill events. Free, family-friendly event.
