Award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter Loreena McKennitt is celebrating the 30th anniversary of her acclaimed album The Mask and The Mirror with a tour across Eastern Canada. The second leg of the anniversary tour, following European festival performances in summer 2024, will visit a dozen cities in New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Québec, and Ontario, beginning in Moncton on October 13, 2026, and concluding in Toronto on October 31.
Released in 1994, the album has been praised for its “timeless and transcendent” quality and its fusion of Celtic, Spanish, and Moroccan influences. Selling over two million copies worldwide, it is considered a turning point in McKennitt’s music. During the tour, each evening will feature a first set of fan favourites followed by a full performance of the album, accompanied by Caroline Lavelle (cello), Brian Hughes (guitar), Hugh Marsh (violin), Dudley Phillips (bass), and Robert Brian (drums).
Doors open: 6:30 PM, show: 7:30 PM.
