Join musical artist Denise Pelley and accompanist Stephen Holowitz in a lecture and listen series about Famous Black Canadians inside Fanshawe Pioneer Village's restored 1848 AME Church! Beautiful music is paired with stirring biographies at this special afternoon event.

Their fifth edition of this event focuses on telling the stories of singer-songwriter Salome Bey and writer Lawrence Hill (please note that Lawrence Hill’s biography is shared, but he himself will not make an appearance).

Tickets to this performance include admission to the Heritage Village, which is open from 10 AM - 4 PM.
Online ticket sales will conclude at 9 AM on the morning of the performance. A limited number of tickets will also be available in the Heritage Village Toll Gate / Visitor Entrance on the day of the event.
