Living with severe ADHD and struggling to fit in at school, Zach needs his sister more than ever. But as Dakota tries to keep their fractured family together, the line between being a sister and becoming a parent begins to disappear.
Fish Boy
Fish Boy follow Jacky, a single mid-life professional who comes to form an unlikely bond with 12-year-old Jack after he knocks on her door one day asking to borrow a bowl for his fish - he caught it at the lake and wants to take it home as a pet. Jack starts to visit often. Their connection grows. When Jack suddenly stops coming around, Jacky unable to find him is left to grapple with the bittersweet loss of their unexpected bond.
Just Another ******* Short Film
August cleans pools with Porter Jr., whose father owns the company. A month earlier he took a VHS camera to Montreal to film his grandfather telling a joke - the only thing he's ever made, and the only thing he's sure of. He brings the tape to a job interview and plays it from the last line. The joke lands on silence, and he can't explain what was supposed to be funny.
