Music can preserve memory, give voice to forgotten stories, and connect us with the past. Echoes from the Holocaust presents a powerful afternoon of chamber music by Sergei Prokofiev, László Weiner, Robert Kahn, Alexander von Zemlinsky, and Reynaldo Hahn, bringing together works shaped by a period of profound upheaval and loss.
Featuring works written for piano, clarinet, and strings, this program explores the rich musical voices of composers whose lives and legacies intersected with the cultural and political turmoil of the early twentieth century. Through their music, Echoes from the Holocaust invites the audience to reflect on the power of artistic expression, memory, and remembrance.
Join Magisterra Soloists for this meaningful concert as they honour the past through music and remember the lives and voices that must not be forgotten.
