Dizzy & Fay, the Southern Ontario songwriting duo of pianist Mark Lalama and vocalist Amanda Walther, craft 100% original music that blends fresh melodies with a classic jazz feel. Known for their heartfelt, whimsical compositions, they have released two acclaimed albums, with Hooked praised by Wholenote Magazine and their 2021 song “I Knew It Was Love” recognized at the London Music Video Awards. Drawing on rich musical backgrounds—Lalama’s collaborations with top Canadian jazz artists and Walther’s Juno-nominated, award-winning songwriting—the pair deliver timeless, engaging performances that captivate audiences across Canada and the United States.
The Jayne Hysen & Anna Pin Duo consists of bassist, Anna Pin and pianist/composer, Jayne Hysen. The pair have been performing together in London and Port Stanley for several years. They form the nucleus of the Jayne Hysen Quartet and the newly formed, Danu Rising Ensemble. While both are adept at playing jazz standards, their passion is performing original jazz pieces composed by Jayne and other women artists. This is their third appearance at the Aeolian Jazz Festival, and they are happy to be back.
Doors open: 4 PM, show: 4:30 PM.
