Audiences will hear the brilliance of a young Beethoven and the mature, emotionally charged world of Wagner. Beethoven’s Piano Concerto is a triumphal blend of youthful energy, classical elegance, and the composer’s virtuosic command of the piano. Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde is a dramatic and expressive portrayal of a story of doomed love.
Renowned piano soloist Leslie Kinton, professor at the Don Wright School of Music, University of Western Ontario, returns to continue our Beethoven piano concerto cycle. This is the fourth time since 2018 that Dr. Kinton has joined for a Beethoven piano concerto, and the organization is delighted to perform with him again.
