Growing Chefs! Ontario is a registered charity that unites chefs, growers, educators and community members in children’s food education projects. Their social enterprise model also allows for their incredible venue and formidable chefs to be booked for private events.
Growing Chefs! Ontario is leading food education organization helping the next generation build healthy relationships with food through hands-on program in schools, community spaces, Learning Gardens, and our Teaching Kitchen at the Western Fair District. Our public cooking classes, summer camps, and multi-week culinary programs empower children, youth, and families with the skills and confidence to grow, cook, and enjoy good food for life.
Our downtown headquarters facility also offers a warm, inviting rentable venue for various private events, such as weddings, showers, engagement parties, corporate dinners, cocktail receptions, and team building events. Our space also features a fully equipped kitchen and flexible event space for interactive culinary experiences. Guests can also join our monthly adult cooking classes, showcasing seasonal themes and globally inspired menus.
Growing Chefs! Ontario is also the proud presenter of Londonlicious, a citywide culinary festival that showcases the best of London's vibrant food scene. Held twice a year, the festival features curated prix-fixe menus, special events, and unique dining experiences at participating restaurants across the city. Londonlicious celebrates local chefs, highlights seasonal ingredients, and encourages residents and visitors alike to explore and support London's diverse culinary community.
