  • Girls A, AA, and AAA OFSAA Volleyball Championships for the first time ever will be hosted at the same time, in the same city.

(London, ON) – London will be the mecca for Girls High School Volleyball in March 2021 as all three Girls OFSAA Volleyball Championships (A/AA/AAA) will be hosted in London, something that has never been done before in OFSAA history across any sport.

March 8 – 10, 2021 will see over 900 student-athletes and coaches in London to compete in this unique event, hosted by Oakridge Secondary School, with games being played at Fanshawe College, North London Optimist Centre, and Carling Heights Optimist Community Centre.

Following the successful hosting of the 2018 OFSAA AAA Girls Championships, Co-Convenors Michelle Lange and Mike Darling wanted to do it again, but this time came up with the idea to make it bigger and better.

"We are very excited to be awarded the first ever super OFSAA (all three classifications) for female sport in our Province. Our goal is to create a modern event that enhances the experience of Ontario student-athletes, coaches and fans, by creating a positive, energetic atmosphere through the camaraderie of associations and athletes".
Michelle Lange and Mike Darling - Co-Chairs

"OFSAA is excited that Oakridge Secondary School and WOSSAA in partnership with London Tourism have been awarded and will host all classifications of OFSAA girls' volleyball in 2021. OFSAA is confident all participants and spectators will be treated to an incredible high school sporting experience."
Shamus Bourdon – Manager of Sport, OFSAA

"Tourism London is so proud of our community sport champions like Mike and Michelle who work so hard to not only bring these events to our city, but to put a uniquely 'London' spin on everything they host.  Their ability to infuse an athlete centred focus to hosting brings a level of awareness to female high school sport that is well deserved."
Cheryl Finn – Director, Sport Tourism – Tourism London

Information on participating schools, schedules, and volunteer opportunities will be posted at a later date at www.ofsaa.on.ca. For those looking to get involved through sponsorship, Mike Darling can be reached at m.darling@tvdsb.ca.
