  • Labatt Park Tours Return for 2023 Season

  • Tourism London is happy to announce that beginning Tuesday, May 30, guided tours of Labatt Park, the world’s oldest baseball grounds, will open for the 2023 season.

    These award-winning tours were recently recognized at the London Heritage Awards, having been presented with the 2023 Local History Award.


    Opened in 1877, Labatt Memorial Park is recognized in the Guinness Book of World Record’s as the World’s Oldest Baseball Grounds. Some baseball’s most legendary players have played at the park including Ty Cobb, Satchel Paige, Fergie Jenkins and many more. Travel back in time as a knowledgeable tour guide walks guests across the park, sharing stories and facts from some of the most memorable moments in the parks history. Tours end inside the original 1937 Roy McKay Clubhouse, where artifacts dating back to the early 20th century are available for viewing. To date, over 600 tours have been conducted with guests from as far as Philadelphia, Oregon, Halifax and Mexico. 


    Now through August 31, guests can book a tour for only $5, which are offered from Tuesday to Friday at 2 pm and Saturday at 11 am. Tours must be booked at least one day in advance, and children 12 and under free.
