  • TORONTO – U SPORTS is excited to announce that JUNO nominated artist Delaney Jane, will be performing the halftime show at the 2022 Canada Life Vanier Cup at Western Alumni Stadium on November 26th.

    No stranger to radio hits, her most recent single title “Just As Much” ft. Virginia To Vegas, has reached Canadian Gold Status, #24 most played on Canadian Radio Hot AC and Top 10 on Canadian Radio.

    Prior to this release, Delaney began her professional career as a featured vocalist on some of the biggest electronic dance records of the past decade. Her collaborations have included DVBBS, Rezz, Oliver Heldens, Shaun Frank and Grandtheft, amassing millions of streams worldwide.

    In 2018, her collaboration with Grandtheft, “Easy Go”, debuted reached the top 40 charts radio in America and top 10 in Canada, while achieving gold record status.

    That same year she was nominated for a Juno and an MMVA for her collaborations with Adventure Club (“Limitless”) and Grandtheft (“Easy Go”). She also released her first solo single titled “Bad Habits”, her independent label Dirty Pretty Things. “Bad Habits” quickly stormed both the sales and radio charts, garnering top 10 on Canadian radio in 2 formats (top 40 & AC) and was certified Platinum.

    Since the pandemic, Delaney has - like most artists - continued to write, collaborate, and carefully curate/refine the kind of sonic direction she wants to venture down. She is extremely eager to get back on stage, to book a full-fledged USA tour, and as always to meet and connect with her fans face-to-face.

    The 2022 Canada Life Vanier Cup is a presentation of U SPORTS in collaboration with the Western Mustangs, Western University, the City of London and Tourism London. It is the first time the showdown between the champions of the Uteck and Mitchell Bowls is being held in London, Ont.
