Coveted Clubs
A staple of Canada’s comedy scene, Yuk Yuk's has clubs from coast to coast, including right here in London. Located in the DoubleTree by Hilton, this club hosts shows every week featuring established favourites and fresh faces. Monthly amateur nights give up-and-coming comics a chance to take the stage and test out new material.
Adding to the downtown scene, Comedy & Co. is a brand-new venue created during London Music Hall’s renovations in 2025. The venue hosts a dynamic lineup of comics in a close-up club atmosphere. Big Names on Tour
As a key city along the 401 corridor, London makes a convenient spot for touring comedians to swing by and light up the stage. While the city’s venues may be best known for their concerts, they’re no strangers to humour. London knows how to host headliners and punchlines, whether it means a few hundred seats or even an arena!
Canada Life Place offers a colossal venue for big names like Kevin Hart, Nate Bargatze and Jimmy Carr, while Centennial Hall, Aeolian Hall and London Music Hall have been mid-size sell outs for comedians like Rick Mercer, Julie Kim, Demetri Martin, Tom Green, David Cross and many more.
London also loves to repurpose venues for laughs! LazerQuest, the last standing location in North America, has been reimagined into a venue and speakeasy for stand-up and live shows. Honey Dip, a bar and event space above Dough Ev's donut shop, also hosts occasional shows.
Off The Cuff
Poacher's Arms takes London's comedy scene underground... literally. This basement bar is home to London's longest running open mic series, and some comedy historians even say it's the longest running in the province! Other nights, you might catch zany improv from local groups like The Improvables.
Hosted by @mitchvkcomedy since 2022, the Monday night open mics let amateurs try stand-up and local pros to test new material before touring. New voices are welcome, so step up to the mic if you’re feeling inspired or simply sit back, grab a drink and enjoy the chaos.

Sorry! Comedy Festival
Every November, London becomes Canada’s comedy capital during Sorry! Comedy Festival! This four-day festival takes over venues across the city with stand-up legends, breakout stars and the next generation of ones to watch. With shows of all sizes, styles and ticket prices, there’s something for every kind of comedy fan.
Main Stage shows bring big-name performers with Netflix specials, TV credits and national tours to town. 2026’s headliners include Matteo Lane, Steph Tolev and Chris Fleming. For more intimate evenings, Spotlight Series shows bring acclaimed comedians to mid-size venues, while Club Shows pack small venues with unique themes and plenty of local flavour.

Grand Laughs
New in 2026/2027, the Grand Theatre hosts Grand Laughs, a series of shows that experiment with the boundaries of what comedy can be. Save with a subscription or grab single tickets to see all three shows:
- Hyprov (November 8, 2026): a hilarious night fusing hypnosis and improvisation, featuring improv legend Colin Mochrie (Whose Line Is It Anyway?) and renowned hypnotist Asad Mecci.
- The Soaps (January 21-30, 2027): an improvised soap opera unfolding over six nights, complete with recurring characters, twisted plots and high-wire hilarity. See one episode or see them all!
