Their Blues in the Biergarten series continues with another idyllic evening on the patio at the German Canadian Club. This time, the Great Lakes Blues Society brings you the traditional blues sounds of the Rae Melvin Band. Originally from Clinton Ontario, Rae adds his own style to the influences of the likes of Freddy King, Paul Butterfield and even Gerry Garcia. This 4-piece group brings a laid-back nuance to the Chicago and Texas blues of the greats; perfect for the patio setting.
Rae has had multiple festival and club appearances Ontario-wide, following the release of his new EP, Clinton Junction.
The German Canadian Club Biergarten is a weekly Saturday event in the summer months. Come down to the Coves for cold German beer, traditional German food, and live music. The large outdoor patio, quiet setting, and adjacent green space make it a perfect spot to spend a summer evening with friends and the whole family. Bratwurst, beer and live Blues .... doesn't get any better on a Saturday night in London.
