The FCFF’s Forest City 48 returns! Over the course of 48 hours, filmmaking teams write, shoot, and edit a 4-to-8-minute film that features a specific location, a provided line of dialogue, and a particular prop, in competition for top honours across our official award categories! No experience needed.
The challenge takes place from May 29 – 31, 2026.
The kick-off event will take place Friday, May 29 at 6 PM at Innovation Works London (201 King Street, London, ON) as part of Film London’s Spring 2026 Film Industry Mixer.
Then, join them for the grand premiere at Hyland Cinema on Wednesday, June 3 at 7 PM!
The final screening is a free event, so bring your friends and family to cheer you on as the completed films hit the big screen and this year’s award winners are crowned!
