Patio Season in London, Ontario: Hidden Gems

Picture it: you close your laptop, take off those sweatpants you’ve been lounging in for three days and put on something nice. Feeling good, you make a call for reservations on the patio at that little place that friend of a friend told you about months ago. That quiet spot with the to-die-for appetizers where they treat you like family. You’ve got nowhere else to be - no emails to answer, no draining Zoom meetings to attend. If the lockdown felt like it lasted forever, we have two glorious words for you: patio season. 

This summer may be a little different, but with some guidance on where to go for good eats, signature drinks and aesthetic ambiance, you’ll be sure to have a blast. New to London? We’ve got you. If you’re a local, you may be familiar with some of these hidden gem patios, but have you been to them all? Support one of your tried-and-trues or try something new!

This FREE seasonal outdoor market runs every Wednesday and Thursday evening from 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM in Queen's Park at The Market at Western Fair District. Comprised of local small business vendors and food trucks, Park it at the Market has something for everybody! Vendors offer everything from ice cream and fritters to produce and clothing. They will be hosting a variety of DJ's and live musicians throughout the summer, and guests can sit down at a picnic table or spread out their own picnic blanket. Relax and take in the atmosphere and tunes at one of London's most unique outdoor patios. As the full event is licensed, guests can enjoy a cold beverage while visiting and supporting their local vendors! On now until September 30th!
