Winter Walks at Fanshawe Pioneer Village from Tuesday, February 3 to Friday, March 20, 2026, in London Ontario.

Come and enjoy the winter scenery at Fanshawe Pioneer Village by going for a walk of the grounds while our heritage buildings are closed for the season!
Here are some important tips for your visit:
-For your safety, please please check-in at the Spriet Family Visitor Centre when you arrive and before going up into he Village (it is the red building outside the main Village entrance).
-Donations are welcome when you check in!
-Washrooms are located in the Spriet Family Visitor Centre.
-While you’re at the Spriet Family Visitor Centre, stop by the new exhibit in the Gallery: "Naakonigewnan ezhi-zhitoong: Wampum and Treaties of London & Middlesex County)", presented in partnership with the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation.
-Make sure to dress for the weather and wear proper shoes. Please expect compacted snow and some ice on the pathway.
-Please stay on the main pathway around the Village.
-The heritage buildings are closed, but you can read the information signs outside them or visit our Virtual Village for more pictures and history (Virtual Village — Fanshawe Pioneer Village).
-Winter Walks are weather dependent. If it is too icy or snowy they will be closed. Notice will be given on our website and social media.
-Leashed pets are welcome. Please clean up after your pets and be respectful of local wildlife.
-The Fanshawe Conservation Area front gate (at the dam) locks daily at 4 PM.
