Heeman's

Heeman’s is a family-run greenhouse, berry farm, coffee counter and cidery/meadery that has been proudly serving London and the great communities around it for over 60 years. Their pet and stroller-friendly greenhouse is open 7 days a week, year-round. It’s warm and cozy to browse in the winter, and bursting with colour in the summer throughout their extensive grounds and greenhouses making this a true gardener’s paradise! There’s always something new to see as the seasons change when browsing over 100,000 square feet of retail space. 

Every fall brings the arrival of London’s original Porch Package along with their Food Trucks on the Farm weekends, and there’s always plenty of Christmas greenery and decor in November and December to bring some holiday cheer to your home.

It’s a popular family destination with visits often including a peek at the fish pond and wandering the display garden complete with waterfalls, walking paths, and water features teeming with frogs and tadpoles. Followed up with a treat like their famous strawberry sundaes and milkshakes or a much needed latte from the onsite Berry Beanery that’s open whenever the greenhouse is open!

Their 30 acre strawberry farm grows juicy and sweet strawberries that are picked fresh daily from June through to October, with the Pick Your Own Strawberry Patch open in late June for a few weeks so you can enjoy the sunshine and strawberry picking fun for yourself. They also work with some amazing local farm friends to bring you the best summer produce Ontario has to offer; Niagara peaches, local sweet corn and cherries (just to name a few!).

Friendly and knowledgeable Daymakers in orange will always be there to help answer your gardening questions, or give extra love to any puppy that enters the greenhouse! So grab your friends, family or fur babies and enjoy a visit to Heeman’s anytime of year.
