In this live-action adaptation of the beloved children's tale by Dr. Seuss, the reclusive green Grinch (Jim Carrey) decides to ruin Christmas for the cheery citizens of Whoville. Reluctantly joined by his hapless dog, Max, the Grinch comes down from his mountaintop home and sneaks into town to swipe everything holiday-related from the Whos. However, the bitter grump finds a hitch in his plans when he encounters the endearing Cindy Lou Who (Taylor Momsen).

We are a brass band that started over 25 years ago and are the longest established trombone choir in Southwestern Ontario. We are all amateurs in the truest sense in that we “love” to play our instruments to the best of our ability while enjoying the fellowship unique to musicians.
You don’t often hear a quartet of trombones… and much less playing your favorite Christmas carols. Please join us and enjoy your favorite Christmas tunes in a way you’ve never heard them before. Led by Western University’s Professor of Trombone, Dr. Denis Jiron, this quartet of trombonists is sure to delight.
John D. Huston An actor of Métis heritage John’s career has largely involved “culturally misappropriating the works and identities of dead white guys”, playing Tommy Douglas in Saskatchewan, Shakespeare in England, William Lyon MacKenzie in Toronto & Dickens throughout Canada. He was therefore delighted to play Louis Riel for the 50th anniversary production of The Trial of Louis Riel Canada’s longest running dramatic presentation. Currently John is appearing in a well reviewed production on Canada’s Residential Schools: Civilised. This year marks John’s 30th anniversary touring Dickens’ solo version of A Christmas Carol, a show he has performed over 700 times since 1992 at venues across Canada including The National Arts Centre, Theatre Passe Muraille & Ottawa’s Gladstone Theatre. In 2017 he was nominated as Best Actor for the 2016 theatre season by Ottawa’s Capital Critics’ Circle for his run of A Christmas Carol at Ottawa’s Gladstone Theatre.

Heritage London Foundation presents the 4th concert of the 2023 Community Music Series, featuring 'Carols & Poems' with local poet Penn Kemp, cellist Lucas Tensen, and singers from the Waldorf Faculty & Community. The audience will be invited to sing along with the carols. This is an all-ages event on Sunday December 10th 3:00-4:30 PM.
