      Discover 19th century textile history at Fanshawe Pioneer Village!

      Learn about 19th-century fibre art traditions while you explore over 25 Heritage Buildings at our expansive, open-air museum. Enjoy hands-on demonstrations and family-friendly activities all day long.

      In addition to activities run by our costumed historical interpreters, check out textile skill demonstrations from visiting artists and guilds. Special activities include the Stuffy Hospital at Dr. Jones House, where you can bring your fluffy friend for minor repairs.

      Support local textile artists at the Vendor Market and in the Denfield General Store. Cash is recommended for the market.

      Attend the keynote presentation by historical weaving expert Deborah Livingston-Lowe and learn all about Komoka weaver John Campbell.

      Make it a day and treat yourself to our Hot Dog BBQ Fundraiser! The grill will be open from 11 AM - 3 PM (or while supplies last). Cash is preferred, although card transactions can be made in the Denfield General Store. Halal and vegan options will be available.
