Join RCRM’s Curator, Dr. Georgiana Stanciu for a fascinating tour at 11 AM on Saturday, 25 July 2026: Comfortable Barracks for Men of Good Physique and Character

The first lodger was satisfied with the level of comfort at the newly built barracks, but his efforts were to recruit personnel for the purpose of training the local Militia units. This Curated Tour will shine a light on how the plans to create a professional Army in Canada worked for London, ON. As part of the tour, view additional topic-related artefacts.

This tour is presented in connection to the Royal Canadian Regiment Museum's temporary exhibition, "Fascinating Redcoats. The Story of Wolseley Barracks" (26 Jun–20 Sept), held during the bicentennial year of the City of London, ON. Find more information on the museum’s website. No registration required.

Access the site via Elizabeth Street.
As of 1 April 2026, visitors are required to provide a government issued photo ID by the commissionnaire on duty at the controlled access point to the military property.
