Music+Art+Turtles will be an afternoon of music played by performers who knew Tom during his five decades in London’s music and art scene.
THC will also be an opportunity to spread Tom’s artistic prowess. Dozens of original paintings and drawings will be given away, and a few large pieces will be available through a silent auction.
All proceeds will go to the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre, which rescues, rehabilitates and returns injured turtles to the wild. Tom had a lifelong interest in turtles, and often dreamt about them.
Tom touched countless lives through his artistic and musical endeavours. He produced thousands of paintings and drawings, from caricatures and abyssal fish to reimagined figures from the Renaissance and Rock ’n’ Roll. Tom’s guitar playing was an essential component of the Black Holes, Osterborg, Arco di Scarico and Lax Apparition.
