    Sit-In  Climax of the December Revolution in Sudan In December 2018, the Sudanese people took to the streets in wide protests and demonstrations against the oppressive al-Bashir regime. On April 6th 2019, the protestors staged a sit-in in front of the Sudanese army headquarters in Khartoum that was met with excessive force by militarized troops. On April 11 of 2019, just days later, al-Bashir was forced by army commanders to step down as President. It is estimated that over 100 people were killed since the beginning of the protests, as well as hundreds injured and arrested. This documentary explores the modality and procedures through which the revolutionists created different forms of action in order to create change. Despite the government's many attempts at violently thwarting their efforts, through solidarity and cooperation nothing could stop the Sudanese people from altering the course of their country's history.

    2024 Ting Comic and Graphic Arts Festival

    Named after Merle “Ting” Tingley, London Free Press’ editorial cartoonist from 1948 to 1986, Tingfest is an annual celebration curated by TAP Centre for Creativity that showcases the work of past, present and future comic and graphic artists from Southwestern Ontario. ?     Sum 41: Tour of the Setting Sum

    Grammy-nominated band Sum 41 has announced the official Canadian leg of their last ever headlining world tour, ‘Tour Of The Setting Sum’, to celebrate the upcoming release of their final album Heaven :x: Hell. As previously announced Sum 41 will make stops in the United States, Japan, Mexico, Germany, Italy, and more, and will perform their largest show to date in front of a sold-out crowd of over 35,000 at Paris La Défense Arena in France later this year before the official Canadian leg of the tour.

    Billy Idol - Rebel Yell Canada 2024

    For 46 years, Billy Idol has been one of the definitive faces and voices of rock’n’roll. Between 1977 and 1981, Idol released three albums with Generation X as their camera-ready frontman. In 1982, he embarked on a transatlantic/trans-genre solo career that integrated the bold and simple lines of punk and rock’n’roll decadence. Touring consistently around the world for the last ten years and showing no signs of slowing down, Idol released both The Roadside EP in 2021 and The Cage EP in 2022 on Dark Horse Records, earning praise from fans and critics alike. In January, Idol cemented his name among Hollywood legends with the first Walk of Fame Star of 2023.

    Disney's Beauty and the Beast – Drama Production

    Step into the enchanted world of Broadway's classic, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, an international sensation that has been produced in 37 countries worldwide. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. The original Broadway production ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
