Important Highlights of the Program

The Show Your Badge Program is an incentive program designed to encourage conference delegates to explore the city and visit local businesses during their conference stay. Delegates simply show the participating businesses their conference badge to obtain special offers & discounts: 10% off, 2 for 1, BOGO, etc, you decide what works for your retail business, restaurant or attraction! Please note the this is a complimentary program and there is no cost to participate.

Participation has high potential of increased traffic in your business during the conferences - delegates are more likely to visit a business that provides them with a special offer.

Listing of your business and discount being offered within the Meeting section of the Tourism London website plus at the URL showyourbadge.ca (website launch in early 2024). Listing information & discount can be changed at any time at your request.

targeted listings

Website will contain unique geotargeted feature that allows the conference delegate to see which participating businesses are closest to their hotel.

Complimentary window cling to put in business window indicating your participation in the program (to be distributed in early 2024).

convention alerts

Participants will receive regular convention alerts as a reminder of what conferences are coming up that the show your badge program is in effect for. When an upcoming conference is coming to London and is part of the program, a sample of their conference name badge will be provided to you in advance for awareness purposes.

Change your offer anytime

If there should any changes to your offer or listing at a later date, get in touch with us and we will make the changes for you, there is no cost to change your listing or offer information.

Images to consider: Please use an image that does not have text or logos to avoid clutter, use a simple image to attract the viewer's attention. Keep in mind the viewer will see the details of your business like the title and location below the listing image and complete info on the details page of your business, therefore it is not necessary to embed those details within your image.

Before you upload an image, make sure that the image falls in one of the four categories. Tourism London does not assume responsibility and liability for the content and images of any submitted business postings.
Tourism London reserves the right to change/edit images, or to choose a different image for the business submission.
1. Own work: You own all rights to the image, usually meaning that you created it entirely yourself.
2. Freely licensed: You can prove that the copyright holder has released the image under an acceptable free license.
3. Public domain: You can prove that the image is in the public domain, i.e. free of all copyrights.
4. Fair use: You believe that the image meets the special conditions for non-free content, which allows the use of unlicensed material, and you can provide an explicit non-free use rationale explaining why and how you intend to use it.
