Magisterra Soloists is kicking off its 9th season of Magisterra At the Museum with “Musical Jokes”! In partnership with Museum London, Magisterra Soloists are bringing you a vibrant season filled with exciting and unforgettable concerts.
“Musical Jokes” is going to be an exciting program that explores the role that humour and satire play in music.
Their international roster of musicians — Cordula Hacke (piano), Annette-Barbara Vogel (violin), Menelaos Menelaou (violin), Jutta Puchhammer (viola), Katerina Juraskova (cello), Peter Shackleton (clarinet), and Ron George (horn) — will bring together a witty selection of works by Jan Bach, Carl Reinecke, Erik Satie, Alexej Igudesman, Adolf Schreiner, and Ernst von Dohnányi.
