Echos of Latium
The Romance Language Project explores the sounds, rhythms and musical genres of some of the most widely spoken Romance Languages (Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, Romanian, and Catalan). The different sounds and phonetic particularities of these languages originated from Latin, provide a universe of musical possibilities that the band continuously collects and put together for their performances. The intention is to help audiences to connect with diverse cultures that share the same linguistic roots, as a way to celebrate Canada’s multiculturalism through language and music.
