      Formed in Newcastle, Ontario in 1983, Chalk Circle became one of Canada's defining alternative rock bands of the 1980s. Their Gold-certified albums The Great Lake and Mending Wall produced enduring Canadian classics, including "April Fool," "This Mourning," "Me, Myself and I," and "20th Century Boy."
