HERITAGE

The Murphy Bus Lines story began in Clinton, Ontario, in 1946 when Joe and Tom Murphy founded the company. The two brothers built their first school bus by hand from an old soft-drink delivery truck, with the goal of safely transporting rural students to Clinton District High School. While much has changed since that first hand-crafted bus, the company’s mission remains unchanged: to provide safe and dependable transportation to passengers. Murphy Bus Lines’ service to major events in the City of London, including the 2006 Scott Tournament of Hearts, 2007 Skate Canada Nationals, 2011 Tim Hortons Brier, and 2014 LPGA, demonstrates the high level of service they continue to deliver.

In 2005, Murphy Bus Lines was voted one of the "greatest fleets in North America" by Student Transportation News and has been consistently recognized as one of the Best Fleets in North America for the past 10 years.
