The Royal Canadian Regiment Museum tells the story of Canada’s first infantry regiment with the regular army. The museum is located at Wolseley Barracks, built by the Dominion Government in London, ON, between 1886 and 1888 to host the Infantry School Corps created in 1883. The Regiment has a lineage back to 1863-64, when militia units were raised in Oxford and Middlesex Counties. It eventually evolved to four battalions located today at Garrison Petawawa, ON, Garrison Gagetown, NB and London, ON.

The museum collection is vast and includes a large variety of artefacts. Visitors are welcomed in the old archway entrance, upgraded to barrier free access; permanent galleries and a customer friendly gift shop are high profile attractions in the city of London, ON.
