Urban Roots London: Growing Fresh, healthy high-quality organically grown produce, and Connected Communities through increasing food security and fostering self-reliance in the city of London.
Urban Roots London is a non-profit urban farm that transforms underused land in the city into vibrant spaces for growing food, learning, and community connection. They grow high-quality, organically grown produce and distribute it through their innovative equitable "model of thirds," ensuring access for community organizations, local retailers, and individual customers.
Visit their seasonal farmgate markets at 21 Norlan Ave. from May to October on Wednesdays (4–8 PM) and Sundays (10 AM–1 PM) to shop fresh, affordable produce grown right in the city. These market times also double as drop-in volunteer hours, where anyone is welcome to lend a hand on the farm, meet new people, and learn about sustainable urban agriculture.
Urban Roots London also offer seasonal CSA food box subscriptions, guided educational tours, and group volunteer experiences. Rooted in values of Economic Sustainability, Food System Equity, Meaningful Labour, and Ecosystem Accountability; Urban Roots is cultivating a healthier, more connected London—one harvest at a time.
