LONDON, August 24, 2026 – Tourism London in partnership with Racing to Zero, are proud to unveil the London Sustainable Event Hosting Resource Guide. Environmental issues continue to make a tremendous impact and sport is no different. This guide, developed specifically for London sport organizers with local examples, aims to provides advice, best practices and resources for event organizers to incorporate sustainable practices into their event hosting plans.
Even one smaller change is positive. Whether it’s choosing eco-friendly venues and suppliers, connecting with food recovery programs or purchasing carbon offsets, there are opportunities for events of all sizes to make lasting impacts on the environment.

The guide was developed in partnership with Racing To Zero, a leading Canadian sustainability consultancy, led by Canadian Olympians and Paralympians whose mission is to help sport organizations take meaningful climate action.
