THE COMPANY - WHO WE ARE

Great Canadian Holidays and Coaches Inc. is owned and operated by Lorna and Larry Hundt. Together they have over 60 years of experience in the group travel field. After working with various tour operators and coach companies in Ontario, they began a new company of their own, Travel Ventures , in 1984, and in 1998 changed the company name to Great Canadian Holidays and Coaches.

The company is based in Kitchener, Ontario, with a very loyal client following and departure points throughout Southern Ontario and the border states. Among the keys to Great Canadian's success are innovative marketing techniques, and a loyal and dedicated staff with a high degree of expertise in all areas of the company.

After experiencing the unity rallies in Montreal and Toronto prior to the last referendum vote in Québec, the Hundts made a commitment that from that day forward, all of the coaches in the fleet would be dedicated to Canada. Our motorcoach fleet stands at more than 40 and consists of state-of-the-art Prevost, Setra and MCI coaches, many with original exterior murals on various Canadian themes.

You can't help but feel proud to be a Canadian when you travel on these coaches.

In order for us to keep up-to-date on changes, new events, attractions, hotels and destinations, we are proud to belong to the Ontario Motorcoach Association, United Motorcoach Association, Motor Coach Canada, Association of Canadian Travel Agents and Travel Industry Council of Ontario. We are also proud members of the Trailways Transportation System.
