Tourism London is your one stop source for all local concerts, festivals, theatre, live music, sporting events and much more in London, Ontario.

Guidelines For Submitting Events

In order for your event to be featured on the Tourism London events calendar, it must:

  • have a tourism focus, appeal to a large number of people and have the ability to draw visitors from beyond the immediate local area
  • take place in London, Ontario or within 40km of London, Ontario.

Please note that first priority for event listings will go to Tourism London partners in good standing. We ask that you please notify us as soon as possible if changes are required or if the event is cancelled.

Events that will not be listed include:

  • Camps (summer camps, day camps, PA Day camps, etc.)
  • Casting calls/auditions, networking events
  • Events that are political/religious in nature, or conflict with any applicable city by-laws or policies
  • Garage sales, sidewalk sales, yard sales or used book sales
  • Happy hours, retail sales, bar crawls, or dining specials
  • Hospital, church or other bazaars or rummage sales
  • Job, education or health fairs
  • Lotteries, karaoke, bingo or trivia
  • Open houses or homecomings
  • Regularly scheduled courses, classes or events
  • Virtual events

All events are approved at the discretion of Tourism London based on the criteria noted above. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or need assistance. You will only be contacted if our staff require more information.

Important note: we reserve the right to edit or deny any submissions.

Your event will not be added automatically to the calendar when you click "Submit My Event." Submissions will go through a review process to ensure they contain all required information and meet the guidelines listed above.

  • It is recommended that you include a photo of your event.

  • ACCEPTABLE IMAGES: Please use an image that does not have text or logos to avoid clutter, use a simple image to attract the viewer's attention. Keep in mind the viewer will see the details of your event like the title, date and location below the listing image and complete info on the details page of your event, therefore it is not necessary to embed those details within your image.

    Before you upload an image, make sure that the image falls in one of the four categories. Tourism London does not assume responsibility and liability for the content and images of any submitted event postings.
    Tourism London reserves the right to change/edit images, or to choose a different image for the event submission.

    1. Own work: You own all rights to the image, usually meaning that you created it entirely yourself.

    2. Freely licensed: You can prove that the copyright holder has released the image under an acceptable free license.

    3. Public domain: You can prove that the image is in the public domain, i.e. free of all copyrights.

    4. Fair use: You believe that the image meets the special conditions for non-free content, which allows the use of unlicensed material, and you can provide an explicit non-free use rationale explaining why and how you intend to use it.
