The 1st Hussars Regiment, a storied regiment based in London and Sarnia, endured immense hardships during the war, with 346 tanks and207 soldiers lost. The Holy Roller, rescued from the scrapyard, was returned to its homestation in London, Ontario. Presented to the City of London in 1949, it became a memorial in Victoria Park, honoring the regiment's veterans. After years of deterioration, in 2018, a global campaign helped fund its restoration and inMay 2022, it was returned to the park just in timefor the 150th anniversary of the 1st Hussars.With an extensive collection, Museum London is the perfect stop for the art enthusiast.
