At a time when baseball was still segregated, Labatt Park welcomed players from all genders and backgrounds including some of the top African American and women’s teams in North America. And from 1989-1993, London was home to the Detroit Tigers minor league affiliated team, the London Tigers, who also played their games at Labatt Park.
