We are able to provide Contactless Curbside Delivery the hours we are open (Mon-Sat 10-4). If you are here in London, we can also deliver them to your door as well for a delivery fee of $5. Our driver will call to confirm you are home when they arrive, leave it on your porch or as directed and step a sade distance away but watch and wave to make sure you were able to retrieve your books. Home Delivery may not be same day as ordered as it is dependent on driver's availability but we will get your books to you as soon as possible.
MAIL DELIVERY:
We know it cannot compare with browsing through our physical shelves but we invite you to visit our website at atticbooks.ca. While it is only a smidge of our total inventory and not our usual shelf stock, we have over 13,000 items online for your perusal. Pick a subject and dive deep into some of our quirkiest, random, and rarer items in our collection. A lot of our items have interesting historical facts attached to them so you can learn a tidbit or two along the way. And as with the curbside delivery above, we can deliver them to your car. Just choose the free local pick up shipping option and give us a ring (519-432-7277) when you are here or our newly added home delivery option.

Over the course of his career, Jeff Willmore has devoted his practice to investigating the contemporary meaning of his environment by compulsively recording his surroundings. From his abstracted plein air paintings to the creation of flattened aerial scenes depicting anonymous subjects or streetscapes comprised of superimposed imagery, these alternate views venture away from representation to a place where active memories merge with imagination to form engrossing narratives that speak to how we digest information and its effect on our perceptions.
Willmore’s practice has established a strong regional profile with work that can be found in the collections of the Canada Council Art Bank, Western University and Museum London among others. He was awarded the RBC Canadian Painting Competition prize as runner-up in 1999 and has served on granting juries for the Ontario Arts Council.

Steve has been commissioned to create custom art for a long list of corporations, including Atari, Apple, Bank of America, The Canadian Medical Hall of Fame (official portrait artist), Cirque du Soleil, Farhi Holdings Corporation, Kaiser Permanente, The London Hunt and Country Club, MAC World, MATTE World, Microsoft, the New York Friar’s Club, Orchestra London, Pacific Bell, San Francisco’s French Embassy, and more.
Steve has traveled and lived in many places in the United States and Canada and has been dubbed the “Travelling Artist,” as he travels and works with his collectors and interior designer’s needs. Steve currently paints from his well-appointed country art studio just north of London, Ontario, Canada with his business partner and wife, Gert.

Frederick Banting’s name is synonymous with the cure for diabetes, but rarely is it associated with art-making. During the summer of 1920, Banting was in desperate need of a distraction, and a renewed interest in painting freed him from the worries of his personal and professional life. Curator Grant Maltman’s talk From Test Tubes to Paint Tubes traces the integral role art played in Banting’s life, from his period in London, Ontario (1920-21) until his death in Newfoundland (1941).
