Tourism London is inviting partners to take part in a city-wide opportunity to elevate their digital presence through professionally produced video and photo assets.

This co-funded program gives businesses access to high-quality content without the complexity of managing production. Beyond the assets themselves, participating partners will also be well-positioned for inclusion in Tourism London marketing—helping extend the reach and impact of your content.

Filming will take place throughout Summer 2026

Campaign Launch: A Match Made in London

Campaign Launch: A Match Made in London

Tourism London is proud to officially launch A Match Made in London, a bold international campaign developed in partnership with Red Rhino to capture global attention during the FIFA World Cup 2026™.

As the world’s largest sporting event arrives in North America, this campaign positions London as a vibrant, accessible and value-driven destination for travellers looking to extend their World Cup experience.

Through a strategic partnership with VIA Rail, visitors will be encouraged to “Keep the game going,” with a limited-time 30% discount on travel between Toronto and London from June 8 to July 6.

The campaign will roll out across paid and organic channels including social media, YouTube, Google Display, and search, alongside influencer collaborations. All traffic will be directed to a dedicated landing hub designed to convert interest into bookings.

This initiative is expected to drive overnight stays, increase international awareness and generate meaningful economic impact for London’s tourism sector, while leaving a lasting impression on new audiences.

Match Made in London Campaign: Partner Alignment

As this campaign rolls out globally, alignment across industry partners will be key to maximizing impact.

Operators are encouraged to lean into the campaign themes: music, family experiences, and value-driven stays, while ensuring your summer offerings are clearly visible and bookable online.

Tourism London will continue amplifying partner experiences through campaign channels and content integration wherever possible.

City & Western Fair District Redevelopment Moves Forward

City & Western Fair District Redevelopment Moves Forward

A major step forward for sport and recreation in London is officially underway.

City Council has approved an agreement with Western Fair District to transform part of the J-AAR Expo Centre into a new multi-sport facility. The redevelopment will introduce a three-court gymnasium designed to support basketball, volleyball, pickleball, futsal and more, helping meet growing demand across the community.

Beyond local impact, this investment strengthens London’s position as a competitive sports tourism destination.

Construction is expected to begin later this year, with an anticipated opening in early 2027.
