King's University College Chamber Choir, under the direction of Janet Loo, presents “Still We Rise,” a moving program that explores the themes of struggle, empathy, and strength of the human spirit, featuring the uplifting cantata "I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes" by Adolphus Hailstork, with tenor soloist Matthew Bermudez, and works by Andrew Balfour, Sarah Quartel, Moira Smiley, Craig Hella Johnson, and more. The concert takes place on Saturday, April 1 at 7:30 PM in The Chapel at Windermere on the Mount. Admission is by freewill donation, with proceeds to Christ the King University Parish Refugee Initiative. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ACCESS TO VENUE: You are strongly encouraged to enter by the back entrance to Windermere on the Mount (close to driveway on Windermere Road side). You may also access from the front entrance, but please note that you must wear a face mask when crossing through the residence, in compliance with Ministry of Health regulations. While in the chapel masking is certainly encouraged, but not mandatory. If you have mobility needs, please use the front entrance and access the elevator from the outside. Please do not park in numbered spots.
