Named after the London Police Service's first Black officer, this award recognizes young people from the African, Caribbean and Black Canadian communities.
This years event will feature guest speaker Jaqueline Edwards, president of ABLE.
The event will take place Thursday, February 23rd, 2023 at 6:00 PM at LPS Headquarters.

The top three entries will be awarded bursaries & the winner will have the possibility to obtain a full-time summer job with the London Police Service.
Requirements:
Attend high school
Not have a criminal record
Good student (grades, punctuality and attendance, discipline etc.)
Submit essay (up to 500 words) or a video (less than 3 minutes) on the importance of Black History Month
Submit detailed list of volunteer and extra-curricular involvement
Submit Academic and career goals
The winner will be announced at the Lewis Coray Trailblazer Awards event!
