On behalf of Indian Culture of London Ontario (ICLO), it is my pleasure to extend the invitation to our community’s gala event the Grand Navaratri Garba on October 21,2023. The event is to celebrate the holy festival of Navaratri which symbolizes the victory of positivity over negativity. Navratri means 'nine nights' in Sanskrit; Nav - Nine and Ratri - nights. During these nine nights and ten days, the three forms of the Goddess -Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswathi - are invoked.
The Navratras have been an tradition in India since centuries, and we are bringing the authentic flavor of this festival for the Nineth time in London, Ontario. Please find attached the poster for this event which has further details of the location and timings.
The ICLO has been working in the London/ St. Thomas region since past nine years to create a better tomorrow by holding cultural programs, blood drives, fundraising events for hospitals and cancer research, it would be our honor to have your presence on this auspicious occasion. It is also an opportunity to thank you, and the people of Western Ontario who have rejoiced every Indian event that celebrates togetherness across various communities over the past year.
