7 AM in Times Square: The city that never sleeps is about to wake up for the day. Estela, a young Mexican woman arrives at The Grill, an NYC tourist trap, looking for work in the kitchen. As her interview is cut short by an emergency – $800 has gone missing from one of the tills – Estela is hired on the spot and sent to work the line. What starts as an average day quickly spirals into chaos, as management interrogates the staff about the missing money, tensions escalate on the line, leaving the kitchen and the psyches of the cooks in disrepair.
