Canadian Celtic Choir - Tidings of Comfort & Joy - December 10, 2022

The Canadian Celtic Choir presents "Tidings of Comfort & Joy" to celebrate the season with special guests Dan Stacey, fiddle & step dance with Kyle Waymouth, guitar & step dance (five-time Canadian Open Step Dance Champion).

The CCC is a London-based SATB choir of more than 45 voices and was founded in 1996 by Dan Surman, BFA (Specialized Honours Music), B.Ed, to sing and promote Celtic choral music and culture in Southwestern Ontario. The Choir has provided the city of London and surrounding communities with high quality choral music for more than 25 years and has built a solid reputation as one of the most in demand choirs in this area. Since 2020 the CCC has been conducted by Paul Grambo and this season we welcomed our new accompanist by Stephen Holowitz on piano.

The Canadian Celtic Choir has performed at the Canada Summer Games, Windsor Celtic Festival, Goderich Celtic Roots Festival, Owen Sound Celtic Festival, Fergus Highland Games, Home County Folk Festival (London), Canterbury Folk Festival (Ingersoll), Fieldcote Summer Music Series (Ancaster), Lighthouse Theatre (Port Dover), the opening of the Wolf Performance Hall (London, Ontario), and several times with Orchestra London. We have opened for the Men of The Deeps, The Irish Descendants, John McDermott, Lighthouse, and John Tesh.

The choir had several tours over the years including: Maui, Hawaii (2008); Scotland & England (2014); Nova Scotia, P.E.I. and New Brunswick (2017).
