Ready to bring more feathered friends to your backyard?

Join Jeff Lee, Manager of Wild Birds Unlimited, at Sparta Lavender Farm for a fun and informative session on how to create the ultimate bird feeding station—what to do, what to avoid, and how to keep things safe and bird-friendly.

Plus, learn how to have your yard certified as a wildlife habitat with the Canadian Wildlife Federation.

Your backyard can be a haven for birds—and a joy for you!

Sparta Lavender Farm is located 3 KM east from the village of Sparta. The farm is on 40 acres of Carolinian forest that has been designated as an Area of Natural and Scientific Interest (ANSI) due to the species of trees, plants and wildlife found here. This is the migration path for many seasonal birds and is home to many others including our favourite - the pileated woodpeckers!
