21st Annual Salute to Laudable Londoners

Join us for a virtual evening of recognition and philanthropy, as we honour this year’s Laudable Londoners: Graham Porter and Marlene McGrath! The Salute to Laudable Londoners event serves to shine a light on the many exceptional philanthropists within our beautiful city, and acknowledges their contributions in all areas of the community.

Graham was born and raised in London, and attended Western University for both his undergraduate degree in History and for law school. He articled at Cohen Melnitzer, and since his call to the Ontario Bar in 1991, he has practiced corporate/commercial law at Lerners LLP. He has assisted in firm management and since 2015 has been the Managing Partner of the London office, and Chair of the firm.

Marlene McGrath retired as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, for 3M Company of St. Paul, Minnesota in 2018, after having spent 24 years at the company working in the Canadian, international and global businesses. Work responsibilities at 3M included legal and human resources at the executive levels of 3M Canada and 3M Company and leadership of a global team of 1000 employees. Marlene was recognized as a YMCA Woman of Excellence in London and a National Association for Female Executives Woman of Excellence (US). Marlene is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).

Graham and Marlene have been involved in a variety of organizations in London, including:
