The Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) Middlesex-Elgin has been providing home care and community support services since 1906.
Athough partly funded by the provincial government, we rely on generous community support to help keep our local programs and services accessible for everyone who needs them. VON serves thousand of people each day in London, Middlesex and Elgin counties through nursing and personal support services, meal and nutritional support, transportation, volunteer visits, caregiver and bereavement support.
Our annual fundraising event, the VON Activity Challenge has transitioned over the past few years and this year, we have a very exciting plan to break the record for the LARGEST VON outdoor exercise class! The event is open to all ages and abilities. We hope that you will plan to join us for a 40 minute class of varying levels. Participants can also enjoy a scavenger hunt in the Lions Park accessible trails followed by a community BBQ.
