FINE FOOD FIRST. In Downtown London - A new restaurant has opened its doors and the city is excited!
Serving Londoners and visitors to London sophisticated vegan meals inspired by global cuisine, Plant Matter Bistro’s LUNCH and DINNER menus feature familiar favourites and unique dishes from around the world: Mediterranean flatbread, gourmet grilled cheese, ravioli, tortilla empanadas, bibimbap, cauliflower pot-au-feu, and more!
From France, to Korea, to Mexico, and back around to Canada—Plant Matter Bistro’s dishes are made with organic and locally sourced ingredients as often as possible.
“Plant-based dining is gaining attention in the restaurant community and in the community at large,” says Glenn Whitehead, founder of Plant Matter Bistro and co-founder of Plant Matter Kitchen. “The second Plant Matter location means people who live and work downtown can access high quality plant-based fare right on their doorstep.”
Supporting local and using sustainable practices, Plant Matter Bistro runs on Bullfrog Power—Canada’s 100% green energy provider, its drinks menu includes London’s own Booch Organic Kombucha, and its fresh, organic ingredients are grown by farmers in and around the Forest City. Soon, Plant Matter Bistro will offer feature wines and beers from Ontario.
Perfect for Londoners, this new vegan hotspot is a short walk from the Grand Theatre and Budweiser Gardens—it's great for grabbing a meal before or after a play, a Knights hockey game, a visit to Museum London, or a day of shopping at Covent Garden Market.
Also perfect for visitors to the Forest City, Plant Matter Bistro is the ideal dining experience before or after enjoying a festival at Victoria Park or an afternoon stroll up and down Richmond Row.
Partly cloudy throughout the day.
