London Artists' Studio Tour

  • Location: Various Locations London ON
  • Cost: Free
  •

Because of the risks associated with public gatherings due to COVID-19, the London Artists’ Studio Tour is rescheduling the 2020 tour. It will now be held on October 23-25, 2020.

None of the studios will be open to the general public on the original April 24 to 26 dates. In lieu of the spring tour, it is suggested you visit artists on-line via their websites, through social media or email. This contact information is available on this website and in the booklets.

Artist information and the map found in the April booklet will remain valid for the fall dates.

Please note, new Handbooks will not be printed for the fall tour. Artist information and the map found in the original April Handbook will remain valid for the fall dates. The Passport Challenge will still happen in the fall. The only change is to the dates.

The 2020 London Artists’ Studio Tour is scheduled for October 23rd, 24th and 25th. This self-guided tour offers the public an extraordinary opportunity to meet local artists in their working environments and learn more about their creative processes. Friday, October 23rd is opening night. Between the hours of 7 and 9:30 p.m., tour-goers are treated to refreshments and first choice of the artists’ works. Studios remain open Saturday, October 24th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, October 25th from noon to 5 p.m.

The London Artists’ Studio Tour is organized by a small group of professional artists – Sarah Cowling, Carol Finkbeiner Thomas, Corrine Garlick, Beth Stewart and Richard Sturgeon. Each year, this core group selects a dozen or more additional participants through a jurying process that looks for quality art by practicing artists who show a dedication to perfecting their craft and have a studio able to accommodate tour traffic.
